PARTNERSHIP WITH TULSA POLICE DEPARTMENT

NSU has partnered with the Tulsa Police Academy to include the Tulsa Police Academy as part of the Bachelor of Criminal Justice. Students who complete all prior degree requirements and are accepted into the Tulsa Police Academy will earn the final 27 credit hours of their bachelor's degree by completing the approximate 28-week academy and successfully obtaining their CLEET (The Council on Law Enforcement Training) certificate.

ONLINE FAST TRACK

This degree is offered in a format convenient for working adults featuring fast-track 8-week classes that allow students to finish their degree in as little as two years. This degree completion program allows a flexible schedule of fully online courses

The bachelor's degree in criminal justice will provide you with a broad understanding of the criminal justice system, an overview of law and the American court system, and various electives that range from forensics to criminal investigations. With our criminal justice degree, you will feel prepared to enter the exciting field of criminal justice.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE CRIMINAL JUSTICE REQUIREMENTS

Students interested in attending the Tulsa Police Academy must pass a background check, maintain physical fitness standards, meet regularly with a TPD recruiter/mentor and maintain your eligibility to work on the police force.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Oklahoma's Promise

Oklahoma's Promise allows eighth-, ninth- or 10th-grade students from families with an income of $55,000 or less to earn a college tuition scholarship. Students must also meet academic and conduct requirements in high school.
