BE THE DIFFERENCE

IMPACT UNIT - If you’ve seen our Officers out and about downtown, there’s a decent chance they’re members of our Impact Unit. Since 2014, the AM and PM Impact units have been working to make a difference in the downtown Tulsa area by engaging with the community, helping those experiencing homelessness, and keeping the city’s nightlife safe. These Officers aim to take pressure off the Patrol Officers working in the IDL area, picking up the call load and helping to prevent crime. With a variety of skills, assets, and experience, these Officers are here to help maintain the spirit of downtown.

The Tulsa Police Mingo Valley Street Crimes Unit (SCU) is dedicated to proactive policing. They spend their days targeting repeat offenders, solving complex cases, and fostering strong community ties through effective communication and increased visibility. Check out this highlight video to see the work the Officers do every day to protect Tulsans.
