Your dollars go further in Tulsa than almost anywhere.

Across the board, Tulsa has continued to be one of the most affordable cities in the United States. By itself, that doesn't mean much. But when you couple it with amazing food and nightlife options, unmatched family recreation, and a ton of housing options, cost of living starts to really mean something. Research by Sperling's BestPlaces found that on a scale of zero to 100, with higher numbers associated with a more affordable cost of living, Tulsa's rating was 84.80.

Mentally prepared for the challenges of the day.

Mentally resilient for the challenges of tomorrow.

Mental preparation and resilience are characteristics that cannot be taught. For whatever reason, they exist in some people, but not others. These traits are a requirement for Tulsa Police Officers. We must become masters of our own thinking to best serve our community. Although we can't give you these traits, we can help sharpen them throughout your career with mentorship, realistic training, and experience.
